An EWS (Economically Weaker Section) certificate — also called an Income & Asset certificate — lets eligible general-category applicants claim the 10% EWS reservation in education and government jobs. Full details are on our EWS Certificate service page.

Who is eligible?

General-category families (not covered by SC/ST/OBC reservation) whose family income and assets are within the notified EWS limits. The certificate confirms you meet those limits.
