PM-KISAN provides income support to eligible landholding farmer families. Farmers can register, complete e-KYC and check beneficiary status on the official PM-KISAN portal.

The Kisan Credit Card (KCC) gives farmers timely, affordable credit for cultivation and allied activities. Farmers apply through banks (many also allow applying via the PM-KISAN portal's KCC section) and receive a credit limit based on their landholding and crops.

The Soil Health Card scheme gives farmers a report on their soil's nutrient status along with recommended fertiliser dosages and soil amendments for their specific land, aiming to improve yield while reducing overuse of fertiliser. Cards are issued after soil sample testing coordinated through state agriculture departments, with details available on the official Soil Health portal.

Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana is the government's crop insurance scheme, covering farmers against yield loss from natural causes like drought, flood, pests and unseasonal weather. Farmers pay a small, capped premium share; the rest of the actuarial premium is subsidised by the Central and State governments.

e-NAM is a pan-India electronic trading portal that networks existing physical APMC mandis into one unified national market, letting farmers list their produce for online bidding and reach buyers beyond their local mandi. The goal is better price discovery through wider competition among buyers, instead of a farmer being limited to whoever happens to be bidding at their nearest mandi that day.
