ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) is a unique health ID under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission that lets you link and access your health records digitally. Creating an ABHA number is free using Aadhaar or a mobile number.
Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM)
Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY (Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana) gives eligible families cashless health cover of up to ₹5 lakh per year at empanelled government and private hospitals. Eligibility is based on the SECC 2011 database plus specific occupational categories — it isn't open enrolment. Since 2024, all senior citizens aged 70+ are also covered under the scheme regardless of income, issued a separate Ayushman Vay Vandana Card. You can check eligibility, download your e-card, and find empanelled hospitals entirely through the official PM-JAY portal or app — never through a third-party 'card maker'.
National Health Authority (PM-JAY)
If the name, gender, date of birth, or a family member's details on your Ayushman Bharat card don't match your Aadhaar, you can correct them and re-download or reprint the card — no need to reapply for the scheme from scratch. Corrections and reprints both go through the same official beneficiary portal or a CSC (Common Service Centre), using Aadhaar as the reference document.
National Health Authority (PM-JAY)
CoWIN is the government's platform for COVID-19 vaccination records in India. Anyone vaccinated through the programme can sign in with their registered mobile number to download their vaccination certificate, or raise a correction request if details on the certificate (name, year of birth, gender or photo ID number) are wrong.

eSanjeevani is the government's national telemedicine platform that lets citizens consult a doctor online, free of cost, from home. It runs in two modes: eSanjeevani AB-HWC, where an ANM/paramedic at a nearby Ayushman Bharat Health & Wellness Centre facilitates a video consult with a specialist (hub-and-spoke), and eSanjeevani OPD, a patient-to-doctor app where anyone can directly book a slot and consult a doctor by video from their own phone.
