Your credit score (often called CIBIL score) reflects your creditworthiness based on your loan and card repayment history. Under RBI rules, each of the four licensed Credit Information Companies must give you one free full credit report a year. Check your score directly on the official CIC websites — you don't need any paid third-party 'score checker'.

The National Pension System is a government-regulated, market-linked retirement savings scheme open to any Indian citizen aged 18–70. You can open an account entirely online through eNPS, choose how your contributions are invested, and claim tax benefits under Section 80C and the additional 80CCD(1B) deduction. On retirement, part of the corpus is withdrawn tax-free and the rest is used to buy an annuity for regular pension income.

The Public Provident Fund (PPF) is a long-term, government-backed savings scheme with a 15-year lock-in, offering tax-free interest and a tax-free maturity amount — one of the few investments in India with full EEE (Exempt-Exempt-Exempt) tax treatment. It's opened through a post office or an authorised bank, not a private company, and the interest rate is set and revised quarterly by the government.
